On September 15, nearly 300 friends of Rescue:Freedom International came together for an inspiring evening to learn about the hope and restoration being brought to victims of sexual slavery.
Special thanks to all our event participants, volunteers and sponsors whose support made this event possible. We are pleased to announce that together we raised nearly $160,000.
Here’s a quick glimpse of what those dollars will enable us to do in the coming months: provide college scholarships for rescued boys and girls, provide medical care and housing for HIV+ children who were born into brothels, funding the operations of a Safe House for teenage girls (which includes food, housing, security, medical care, counseling, education, clothing, and even a special meal during the holidays).
In the program we heard from Board Chair Dick Foth and Board Directors Lt. General Mick Kicklighter and Nancy Richardson. In addition, our guests were inspired by the story of a survivor who we had the privilege of hearing from.
Special thank you to our 2015 Freedom Dinner sponsors:
